A crash on July 12, which involved two motorcycles and two cars, resulted in the hospitalization of three people. The car and motorcycle accident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. on the 11600 block of Ohio Route 128 in Crosby Township.

A 49-year-old female, a resident of Harrison, was driving a Dodge Magnum when she hit a stationary Toyota Corolla from behind, according to reports from the Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies.

As a result of the impact, the motionless Corolla, which was, at the time, occupied by a 48-year-old male from Lebanon, was pushed into the opposite lane of traffic and it was here that the Corolla hit two traveling motorcycles.

A 56-year-old male biker, a resident of Cincinnati, had to be flown to hospital by emergency medical helicopter immediately following the impact. On arrival at the hospital, the man was deemed by doctors as being in a stable condition. Deputies report that the man had failed to adopt use of a safety helmet while riding his motorcycle.

The other biker, a 49-year-old male, also a resident of Cincinnati, was thrown a distance from his motorcycle yet failed to sustain any injuries.

The two car drivers each suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Both drivers received minor hospital treatment, and they were released from hospital shortly after the incident occurred.

The chain reaction crash remains subject to police investigation. The crash is not thought to have been caused by the consumption of drugs or alcohol.
