Recently, a motorcyclist was involved in a three-vehicle collision on a Cincinnati road, resulting in a fatal motorcycle accident.

Police are now investigating the accident to determine exactly what happened. They are also seeking help from witnesses who may be able to offer any new information on the fatal accident.

From what authorities could gather from witness reports, the motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, lost control of his 2003 Yamaha YZF-R1 while traveling westbound on Glenway Avenue.

Witness reports indicate that the biker first hit the back of a 2004 Dodge Stratus, which sent him over the centerline into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. Both vehicles were not carrying any passengers at the time.

Emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital were doctors pronounced him dead from his injuries. The drivers of the other vehicles were both wearing their seat belts during the accident and were not injured.

While investigators initially believed that the man on the motorcycle appeared to lose control of his bike in this incident, a detailed investigation will be needed to learn exactly what happened. Many times, other cars on the road fail to see bikers, which can spark an accident.

It is always imperative to appropriately assign blame in these cases, because many times an at-fault driver or his insurance company will try to dodge the blame. Dependable attorneys who deal with motorcycle accidents will seek the help of experts who specialize in accident reconstruction. This can be the most effective way to determine who is responsible for these incredibly dangerous accidents.
